I love making cards and even though a lot of people are doing their own these days, I work hard to make mine unique. I try not to copy other designs, but take some ideas and adapt them so that mine are different. I have an art background so I know all about colours and design which really helps me as well. I have always been rather proud of my work but was still really honoured when my friend asked me if I could make some invitations for her. She is getting married soon and asked me not only to do her wedding invitations but also her engagement party invitations and bridal shower invitations. This is a fantastic opportunity for me. I love making cards so much and it has just been a hobby and she has offered to pay me. I have no idea what to charge her so we are getting together next week to talk about designs and the cost of materials and I will let her decide what to pay me but let her know my costs. I cannot wait to start on this exciting project and even though I will have to juggle it around work, I am sure I can easily get it done for her.
