If you have a job to get done and you want to have a scaffolding system that is easily moved from place to place, then your best option is a portable scaffold. This excellent scaffold works best for quick jobs that need to be done over a large area. There is never any need to take them apart - All you have to do is push them on to the next work site!

If you decide to purchase a mobile scaffold, there are some things that you should do to keep it safe and secure. To make it last longer, it needs to be maintained and serviced as needed. The main thing to do is to periodically remove as much debris as possible from its surfaces. Keeping dirt off your scaffold will limit the amount of rot and mold that can build up on surfaces and in hidden crevices. During the cleaning process, check over all of the scaffold’s components to make sure that nothing has been damaged.

The casters and wheels on mobile scaffolds must be checked often to make sure that they roll correctly and that they lock securely into position when needed. The steel support beams need to be looked at periodically to assure that no rust has built up and that they are not corroding. It is also wise to check out all of the screws, bolts and couplers to make sure that they maintain their integrity at all times. Wood planks need to be continually watched for splits, cracks and notches that inevitably occur. Be sure that any damaged wood is replaced immediately.
