I am sure that distance learning will become more and more popular. I think that these days, many people do not relish the prospect of leaving their family behind to stay away to do a training course. I also think that many companies cannot afford to send their employees away on this type of course any more, especially if the training centre is in a big city where it is more expensive to stay and to eat. I even wonder whether, with the way the recession is at the moment, whether companies will start expecting their employees to pay for their own training courses or start work at the company already having the qualifications. If individuals are looking for this type of job then they will have to find a way of paying for the course themselves and perhaps fitting it around their current job and doing some remote classroom training could help to keep the costs down. I think the fact that this type of course is already growing popularity is proof that they will be successful and that they are the next new step in training courses. It is worth everyone getting used to this type of training I think because I am sure it will really take off in the future.
